The microSD card storage option (up to 512GB) is a good feature, but the card isn’t included, so you’ll have to purchase it separately. Also, while the camera is robust, it may not be the most discreet option in areas where a less noticeable security solution is desired.
Now, is this camera worth its price? Given the solid build quality, crisp video resolution, and smart detection features, it definitely offers good value for money. The only downside is the additional cost of the microSD card if you want local storage. For those who don’t mind a subscription, the Tapo Care Cloud option is also available.
